RTE Technologies, Inc. was formed in April, 1998 by Mark A. Campbell, P.E. after learning about, working through, and helping manage a consulting engineering firm originally started by his
father, Bob D. Campbell, P.E. in January, 1958. Exceptional experience was gained by his 21 years of service with that company. Philosophical differences in company direction developed after Bob
Campbell retired in 1990. Mark Campbell decided it would benefit everyone if he formed a new company and the result was RTE Technologies, Inc.
Since inception, the company has completed several hundred projects, from the smallest beam sizing task, to multi-million dollar
buildings. In our short history, several clients have requested continuous services.
October, 2001, brought Todd Miller into the firm. He previously served 6 years as an Estimator and
Project Manager for a local General Contractor and brought valuable construction knowledge to his association with RTE Technologies, Inc
. He decided to return to college part-time to pursue an engineering degree towards licensure as a Professional Engineer. Todd’s
organizational and management skills have been invaluable to the operation of the company. Todd successfully completed the requirements to become a Licensed Professional Engineer, and now, Todd Miller, P.E.,
serves as RTE’s Vice President on its Board of Directors.
In September, 2005,
RTE Technologies, Inc. moved its offices 1/2 block to the Northwest, still in Downtown Overland Park, KS. The
increased space permitted further expansion.
Ryan Corey, P.E. joined RTE in February, 2006. His expertise with
Structural Steel, Pre-Engineered Buildings, and Cost Segregation Studies helped RTE Technologies, Inc. expand and improve the scope of services offered to our clients. His work towards his Master’s Degree has contributed special technical abilities to our
staff. Ryan decided he liked higher education so much that he continued his education and expects to achieve his Phd. in December 2013.
